Designed in Bangladesh, spoken in public

On 7 February 2025 Rokaiya Ahmed Purna spoke at TEDxRUET about moving the national fashion narrative from “Made in Bangladesh” toward “Designed in Bangladesh.”

The sentence is not a slogan laid over the work. It is the same argument that runs through RAP, through Design in Bangladesh, and through collaborations that insist on naming where design is authored.
